About

Professional Overview

I am an independent Mental Health Counsellor committed to supporting emotional well-being through structured, evidence-based practice. My work focuses on helping individuals develop clarity, emotional regulation, confidence, and practical coping strategies in a safe and confidential setting.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults, offering support tailored to developmental needs, behavioural concerns, academic stress, and emotional challenges.

Education & Professional Training

I hold a PG Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy with Internship (2025), where my training included supervised theoretical and practical work within structured counselling frameworks.

My professional development also includes:

  • Certification in Understanding Child Development: From Synapse to Society (Authorized by Utrecht University)

  • Training in integrative and structured counselling approaches

  • Level III Chess Trainer Certification – Emmanuel Chess Centre

My academic training emphasizes structured emotional integration, behavioural clarity, and developmentally informed counselling practices.

My Approach

My counselling approach is structured, goal-oriented, and grounded in evidence-based psychological principles. I integrate:

  • Cognitive and behavioural techniques

  • Person-centered therapeutic principles

  • Structured emotional regulation methods

  • Developmentally informed child and adolescent support

Sessions are conducted with professional ethics, confidentiality, and a focus on measurable cognitive and emotional progress.

Analytical Foundation

In addition to my counselling background, I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and have professional experience as a Junior Data Analyst in the sports analytics domain.

This analytical foundation informs my structured and systematic approach to counselling. I value clarity, measurable progress, and disciplined thinking in both emotional and cognitive development.

Chess & Cognitive Development

Alongside counselling practice, I actively engage in chess education as a structured cognitive development tool.

As a Level III Certified Chess Trainer with an International FIDE rating of 1680, I work with students to develop:

  • Strategic thinking

  • Focus and sustained concentration

  • Decision-making clarity

  • Discipline and resilience

Chess programs are available for individuals as well as schools, colleges, and academies seeking structured cognitive training frameworks.

Professional Commitment

All sessions are conducted independently with a commitment to confidentiality, ethical practice, and structured methodology. I also collaborate with educational institutions to provide counselling and cognitive development programs in organized academic settings.
